Taletorp is the third of TOEM 2's named regions, and the busiest on paper: carpentry, artisanal potion brewing, and a tavern where people take their LARP seriously. The official preview described it as a place to keep your hands busy — which, translated into this game, means a place where a lot of people want a lot of things photographed.
What Taletorp is
The developer's Taletorp preview, published mid-September, listed the region's pastimes plainly: carpentry to keep your hands busy, dabbling with brewing artisanal potions, and LARP around at the tavern. Three crafts, one village, which in TOEM 2 terms means three separate production loops to watch — and craftspeople are famously particular about their photos.
What to do in Taletorp
- Start with carpentry. It is the region's first craft and the cleanest introduction: a workshop, a bench, a visible product. Watch a full piece get made before you shoot, then photograph the steps that repeat.
- Brew a potion before you photograph one. The potion brewing is described as artisanal — small batches, hands-on steps — and the request list follows the process rather than the shelf. You cannot identify the good shot until you have made something once.
- The tavern LARP is a photo bonanza — treat it like one. Costumes, entrances, dramatic pauses. The scene wants an audience with a camera. Give it one.
- Look up. Village architecture is where Taletorp hides its personality; several shots in this region are won or lost on the roofline.

Taletorp FAQ
Do the crafts produce photos or items? Both — the crafts produce what they produce, and the process produces the photo requests. In this region you will often be the official photographer of someone else's hobby.
Is the LARP mandatory? Nothing here is timed or forced; the tavern simply contains more photo targets than anywhere else in the village.
Can I finish Taletorp without finishing Cropten? The regions reconnect, and the trip can be walked in the order you like. Cropten's farming habits, however, show up in Taletorp's hands.
